I hope each of you had an amazing Christmas together with your family & friends! I know I certainly did. All in all, we had about 4 different Christmas celebrations. The Sunday before Christmas, my husband’s family came over and we opened gifts and ate my husband’s homemade queso and cici’s pizza.. had lots of laughs at all of our boys being together and acting nuts :).. then Christmas evening, my husband & I opened gifts from each other, and watched our brood of boys unwrap their gifts with excitement until they realized they were.. clothes.. and pajamas.. and other boring things. lol We save the GOOD stuff for Christmas morning.. (from Santa) 😉 .. my husband stayed up till 4 am putting together four wheelers … One for each boy! & Ofcourse these would be from Santa Clause.. we figured the kids MIGHT wake up around 9 or so.. HA! RIiiiiiiGHT! At 7:45 on the DOT Noah ran into our room screaming at the top of his lungs that Santa had brought him a motorcycle, Nolan a motorcycle, and baby Mason a motorcycle. He was SOOOOOO excited! He ran into his room trying to wake up Nolan and Nolan screamed back at him,.. NOAH! You’re hurting my ears!!.. I crawled out of bed and followed the kids into the living room.. they were each sitting on their own four wheeler and just as proud and happy as they could be! Good job Santa!! hahaha 😉 Ofcourse Mason didn’t give a flip about his little toy story four wheeler, he wanted one a big one too!
SO what did YOU get for Christmas???
.. My husband went nuts and bought me the mother of all camera bags.. or should I say the father of all camera bags… the Kelly Moore boy bag (in mustard ♥♥) the EXACT one I’ve been telling him that I wanted since.. like last summer ;)… Even though it’s for guys.. it’s HUGE.. and it can hold my gear, plus my keys, cell phone.. diapers.. wipes.. it’s HUGE.. I am in love with it. ♥ he also bought me a cookbook and a snuggie. 😉
I NEVER know what to buy my husband. We’ve been together for 7 years, married for almost 6 of those years.. and still at Christmas time.. (& his birthday since it is also on Christmas Day).. I draw a complete BLANK on what to buy for him.. I asked him a few months ago and he told me he wanted a table saw.. just a table saw.. well, I figured Craftsman was a good brand.. So.. went out and bought one.. not any specific one.. just a craftsman table saw.. well OF COURSE I BOUGHT THE WRONG ONE.. So he returned that yesterday & exchanged it for a different table saw. lol He’s sooooooo picky! Next year he will get GIFT CARDS!!!
The kids got tons of clothes and their big gifts from Santa.. Jeremy also snuck in some bows & arrows for the twins (COMPLETELY AGAINST MY WISHES) –I’m the over-protective type of parent..–
& then Christmas Day comes and we take the kids to my parents house. The room where the tree was sitting was completely covered in presents.. it.was.insane. 95% of those presents were for my three kids, and my brother’s two kids.. So now you see why my husband & I don’t purchase many toys for our kids at Christmas.. we KNOW that Papa, Nana, & Auntie, all have that covered!
So they each brought home tons of toys.. & my dad bought the twins each a BB GUN.. what in the world?? Bows & arrows,.. AND a BB GUN!?! None of these people gave passes to the Emergency Room with these gifts.. hmph!
My parents bought me JUST DANCE 2.. and a gag gift.. which was pretty gagful, DAD! I will SO get him back for that… lol
& I also got another SNUGGIE! and some house shoes.. and more goodies from my Auntie~;)
So now here I sit, while my house is covered in toys.. toys.. & more toys, blogging when I should be cleaning ;).. but as all you other moms know.. the housework will wait on you!
much love,
Kristin
